How We Make Money

Our business model

FurrChoice uses an affiliate model. We may take part in affiliate programs offered by pet insurance providers, either directly or through affiliate networks. We do not currently have any active affiliate partnerships.

Once a partnership is in place, when you follow a link from FurrChoice to a participating provider and then complete an action that qualifies under that provider's affiliate program terms, we may earn a commission. Each program sets its own terms: what counts as a qualifying action, and how much is paid, differs between providers.

This means not every click, quote request or purchase earns us a commission. Providers that do not have an affiliate program with us do not pay us anything.

We do not receive lead fees, meaning providers do not pay us simply for sending them a potential customer.

What compensation does not change

• The default order of results is based on how well plans match the preferences you entered, then on estimated price. It is not based on whether a provider pays us a commission or how much it pays.
• Every plan that is eligible for your pet appears in your results.
• Editorial reviews and guides are written independently of compensation.

What compensation may affect

Which providers we can include may depend on whether we have a commercial relationship or access to their data. We disclose that in our methodology. Providers with which we have no relationship may not appear in results.

Links and tracking

Provider links that may earn us a commission are marked with rel="sponsored" and are described as such. We use affiliate tracking only after you consent where the law requires it.
